The B2B marketing specialist Butter and Salt moved into its new headquarters in Berlin-Charlottenburg beginning of August 2020. Due to the growing number of employees and an increase in in-house client meetings a new office was necessary.
Since the company was founded in Zurich in 2014 and moved back to its hometown of Berlin, the Butter and Salt team has grown continuously. Despite the Corona crisis, additional employees were hired, leading to a lack of space at the old location. “Slowly the old premises became cramped, especially when the colleagues from southern Germany were working in Berlin. In some cases, meetings with clients had to be held externally,” explains Florian Schildein, Managing Partner of Butter and Salt GmbH.
Not far from the former office space, the new location is based in an historic city villa with typical “old” Berlin charm. This light-flooded place not only offers a lot of space for people, strategy development and creativity, but also holds the capacity for further growth.
In addition to the new headquarters, two offices will open in Dresden and Wollerau, Schwyz, beginning of September. “Saxony, and Dresden in particular, is a high-tech location, with a lot of potential clients. Experience has shown that client proximity is often a guarantor for client acquisition and loyalty. Therefore we decided to open the office in Dresden,” says Schildein. The reasons for returning to Switzerland are similar. “In Switzerland, we have been able to acquire many new customers in recent months. We are familiar with the mentality from our time spent in Switzerland and can therefore establish a good customer relationship quickly,” explains Schildein.
