Butter and Salt expands consulting capacities

Due to the strong demand, the Berlin B2B marketing and sales consultant Butter and Salt is further expanding its capacities. This will be of benefit to existing and new customers in the electronic manufacturing and unmanned technologies industries. Especially the Bavarian office will be strengthened with a local consultant.

 The first step to expand capacities was already taken in April. Katharina Niesert, an experienced marketing specialist who in recent years marketed Germany as a research and development location at the German Center for Research and Innovation (GCRI) in New York was recruited.

“With Katharina, we are pleased to have found a colleague who, thanks to her international experience, opens up new opportunities in North America,” explains Jennifer Schildein, Human Resources Manager at Butter and Salt.

Niesert will therefore increasingly focus on international customers as well as possible activities in North America, since Butter and Salt has received more and more inquiries from German mechanical engineering companies over the last one and a half years.

As of July, the Butter and Salt team is joined by Tom Weber. In recent years Weber has been employed as network manager at the Cluster for Mechatronics and Automation in Bavaria. “Tom Weber is an experienced marketing and sales specialist for electronics, mechatronics, automation, robotics and mechanical engineering. We have known each other for several years and therefore I am personally pleased to welcome him to our team”, states Florian Schildein, managing partner. Weber will be working in southern Germany, with a special focus on Bavaria.

“Due to his cluster work, he has great connections and can therefore effectively help our customers in many areas even beyond marketing and sales,” adds Jennifer Schildein.

“We have received increased inquiries from Bavaria in the last months. Electronics manufacturing and unmanned technologies are thereby driving force. After the foundation of the Munich office, it was therefore inevitable to further expand the consulting capacities in the region,” explains Schildein. Butter and Salt also recorded an increase in enquiries from Switzerland, Northern Italy, France and Austria. “With Katharina Niesert and Tom Weber, we are addressing these two developments, as well as the interest of our existing customers in marketing services in North America,” Schildein is pleased to report.
