Butter and Salt expands consulting capacity in France

The B2B marketing and sales consulting specialist Butter and Salt is setting up new capacities specifically for the electronics manufacturing sector in France. Georges Bouvier is a highly experienced sales professional who has been anchored in the industry for more than 35 years.

For almost 1,5 years now, Butter and Salt has registered an increase in demand from its existing customers for marketing support in France. “France is one of the most important European countries in electronics production, alongside Germany. From my time as sales manager at Essemtec AG, it was clear to me that a French-speaking colleague must be part of the team for successful marketing,” recalls Florian Schildein, managing director of Butter and Salt GmbH. The team had to be strengthened in this area in order to meet the demands of existing customers.

“We found what we were looking for in my previous Essemtec sales team,” explains Schildein. Schildein and Bouvier know each other from these times. “During this period, I got to know Georges as an impeccable colleague who brings a very high level of technical expertise and who knows the electronics manufacturing market in France and North Africa extremely well,” Schildein continues. Bouvier has been working as a sales manager in the international electronics industry for more than 35 years.

His tasks in the Butter and Salt team do not only include French companies entering or expanding the German market. The same applies to German-speaking companies that have defined the French market as their target market. “It helps both German and French companies to have an external partner on board who knows both countries and their characteristics well,” emphasizes Bouvier. In addition, Butter and Salt has a strong international focus, enabling French companies to market their products worldwide.
